We also shared some insightful research and best practice examples of where marketing, retail and product development are using the concept of ‘feel good’ to innovate successfully.

Start-up of the Year 2015

Alongside his brother Harry, Charlie runs healthy ice cream company Oppo. Winner of the Guardian’s ‘Start-up of the Year 2015’, with the fastest crowdfund ever from a food & drink company, Charlie’s vision for healthy indulgent foods came about after an expedition in Brazil. After running out of supplies and turning to a diet of wild superfoods, this sparked a love for using natural ingredients to make the most indulgent foods healthy.

Jenny Tschiesche is an expert in nutrition and helps children, adults and sports teams develop and tailor healthier eating and nutritional plans that suit their specific needs. Founder of Lunchbox Doctor, she is an experienced public speaker on a range of subjects encompassing wellness in the workplace, sports nutrition, stress management through diet and has an extensive knowledge of the nutritional aspects of all matters relating to health and wellbeing.

From advertising to Africa

Andrew started his career in the advertising industry, developing and launching consumer brands for companies such as Pfizer and Heinz, before going through a radical life change that saw him move to West Africa. Andrew’s passion for Africa led to the birth of Aduna, a social business whose mission is to create demand for under-utilised natural products from small-scale producers in Africa.
